Jack White's latest solo venture is officially on the way. The former White Stripes rocker has announced plans to release Lazaretto on June 10th. But White has already unveiled a sample of the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated solo debut Blunderbuss in the form of a new song called "High Ball Stepper."
The instrumental guitar workout also comes with a video made up of shots paint and sand getting bounced around by the vibrations from a massive speaker cabinet.
Fans can pre-order a special limited edition copy of Lazaretto by signing up for the Third Man Records' Vault subscription between now and April 30th at ThirdManRecords.com.
Meanwhile, White has a few other projects in the works as well. He's set to appear on a pair of tracks from Neil Young's upcoming album A Letter Home, and his other band The Dead Weather plans to put out an album in 2015 with two-song sets coming out periodically until then.
