Green Day are being a big tease about something. Maybe a new song?

Green Day have teased something that's most likely new music.

They've set up a new website, TheAmericanDreamIsKillingMe.com, that features a video of Billie Joe Armstrong being woken up by an alarm clock, then sitting up in bed and looking at a calendar that has the date October 24th circled in red. The clock plays a few seconds of what is probably a new Green Day song before Billie Joe shuts it off by hitting the snooze alarm.

In addition to the clip, fans are invited to "register for a wakeup call," which assumedly will bring them the actual news either just before or at the same time it's announced. The hands on the alarm clock are on 10 and 5, which could signify either 10/5 or 10/20 (the time the two hands show) as the date the announcement will be made.

The timing for the website's debut and the ''Wake Up" theme of the 33-second clip would seem to reference the band's American Idiot song ''Wake Me Up When September Ends,'' which annually sees fans posting ''Wake Up!'' shout-outs to them on October 1st.

In other Green Day news, they'll perform at halftime of the CFL’s Grey Cup on November 19th in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They've also upgraded the "When I Come Around" video to 4K to mark the release of Dookie 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. Watch the clip on YouTube.
