The Voyage to the Blue Planet trek will having Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. on board as openers. It starts September 4th in St. Paul, Minnesota and wraps up October 11th in Los Angeles. Fan club tickets go on sale Wednesday, with general on-sales Friday.
Weezer will promote the tour by playing "The Blue Album" in full at a club show Friday at The Lodge Room in Los Angeles. Dogstar -- the band with Keanu Reeves on bass -- will open for them. Weezer's first ever show was March 19th, 1992 on a bill with Dogstar.
The band posted a video on social media to plug the tour, and added that besides the full album this tour will include "all of your favorite Weezer songs, rarities and more."
