Here are all of the top streaming songs during Monday's eclipse!

No surprise here as a few artists have seen a surge in streams of some of their celestial-leaning songs from Monday's solar eclipse.

Chief among them are:

  • The Beatles - “Here Comes the Sun” - 2,140% increase in Spotify streams
  • Van Morrison - “Moondance” - 2,300%
  • David Bowie - "Space Oddity" - 2,000%
  • Pink Floyd - “Eclipse” - 1,155%
  • Soundgarden - “Black Hole Sun” - 1,470%
  • Bruce Springsteen - “Blinded by the Light” - 1,600%
  • Elton John - “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” - 635%

Also seeing a 635% increase was Bonnie Tyler‘s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” with the biggest boosts coming in the cities where the sun was completely covered by the moon such as Buffalo, New York - 2,090% from the previous week, and Cleveland with 2,250%.

Not sure why no one downloaded Pink Floyd's song "Brain Damage".....we played this one at KBCO and it was so perfect!!
