Stevie Nicks is releasing a new song this month!

Stevie Nicks has not only spent the year been working on songs for her Rhiannon miniseries, she's got a new solo single on the way, too.

The song, “Show Them the Way,” will be out October 9th with a Cameron Crowe-directed video. Nicks tells the that the song was inspired by a dream she had before the 2008 presidential election that involving Martin Luther King Junior, John F. Kennedy ,Bobby Kennedy and John Lewis.

Besides the tracks for Rhiannon, she's been putting together new solo songs using poetry from her journals and wants to record a full solo album.

She's also addressed Lindsey Buckingham's firing from Fleetwood Mac in 2018. "I never planned for that to happen. Anytime we re-formed to do a tour or a record, I always walked in with hope in my heart. And I just was so disappointed. I felt like all the wind had gone out of my sails."

But it wasn't for lack of trying. "I just felt like a dying flower all the time. I stayed with him from 1968 until that night [at Fleetwood Mac's MusiCares Person of the Year honor]. It’s a long time. And I really could hear my parents -- I could hear my mom saying, ‘Are you really gonna do this for the rest of your life?’ And I could hear my dad saying in his very pragmatic way -- because my dad really liked Lindsey -- 'I think it’s time for you and Lindsey to get a divorce.’ It’s a very unfortunate thing. It makes me very, very sad."

Stevie’s movie,24 Karat Gold - The Concert, will be in theaters on October 21st and 25th.
