I was saddened to hear today that Nanci Griffith has died at the age of 68. No cause of death was given. The Texas singer-songwriter was a frequent visitor to Colorado, with regular stops at Chautauqua as well as the Lyons Folks Festival. KBCO was fortunate to have Nanci Griffith as a guest in KBCO Studio C back in 1994. She leaves us with a treasure chest of great songs but my fave is "Love at the Five and Dime."
