Third Eye Blind will release their seventh studio album and a documentary film about its creation on September 24th.
The album is called Our Bande Apart-- with an E at the end of "band." The movie is titled How We Hold Each Other Right Now: The Making of Our Bande Apart and will premiere the day the album comes out at the Gramercy Theater in New York City. It will also have a screening in L.A. on September 28th at the Masonic Lodge.
A song and video, "Again,"was posted Friday on YouTube. Frontman Stephan Jenkins describes it as "a bliss pop California surf jam" that he wrote while "locked at home during the gloomiest days of the pandemic." He says it reminded him of the band Best Coast, and since their singer,Bethany Cosentino, lives just a few blocks from where they were recording, they asked her to contribute vocals to it.
