Billie Eilish gave her most patient fans a pleasant surprise in Mexico City Wednesday night -- by playing a short acoustic set, even though promoters canceled the show due to torrential rain.
Audience members had waited well over an hour in the downpour when Billie came out to announce that the show would not go on. But then she and brother Finneas went on to play six acoustic songs, including her breakthrough "Ocean Eyes" and her most recent hit "Happier Than Ever." After finishing, she told the crowd, “That was truly really special for me, I love you so much.”
Billie wasted no time in rescheduling the full show -- which was set for tonight. (Thursday). (Evening Standard)
