Robert Plant honored by Paul McCartney for helping kids

Robert Plant has been made Companion of LIPA, the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, which was founded by Paul McCartney in 1995.

He accepted the honor today (Friday) via video from McCartney during the school's graduation ceremony.

LIPA awards companionships for outstanding achievement and practical contribution to students' learning.

Plant paid a visit to the school last November where he held a session with students.
