Hozier was interviewed Monday at the Grammy Museum in L.A. He spoke mostly about his latest album, Unreal Unearth, but was asked an even more topical question by an audience member, who wanted to know who he’d like to dress up as for Halloween.
He said it would have to be Jack the Pumpkin King (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) and added, “I have the bone structure for it.”
He ended the evening by performing “Cherry Wine” plus “Butchered Tongue” and “Unknown / nth” from Unreal Unearth, with his band’s bassist and musical director, Alex Ryan, accompanying him on piano.
