The 38th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set for tonight (Friday) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
This year's inductees are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners, along with honorees in special catagories DJ Kool Herc, Link Wray, Chaka Khan, Al Kooper, Bernie Taupin and the late Don Cornelius.
The Rock Hall has been steadily announcing performers and inductors, but hasn't publicly revealed who will be paying tribute to which artist. The only ones we're certain of is that Elton John will induct and perform for Bernie Taupin, Andrew Ridgeley of Wham will induct his late bandmate George Michael and that Olivia Rodrigo is slated to perform with Sheryl Crow.
Willie Nelson, Chaka Khan and Missy Elliott are other inductees that are slated to perform. Other performers include Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, H.E.R., New Edition, Sia, St. Vincent, Miguel, Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood and Common. Peter Frampton, Ice-T, LL Cool J and Queen Latifah have been announced as presenters.
It's also not clear if Kate Bush -- who has never toured in the U.S. -- and Rage Against the Machine will be on hand to accept their inductions.
This year's ceremony will be broadcast live on Disney+ starting at 8:00 ET. It will also be available to stream afterwards, and ABC will air a prime time special, 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, on January 1st at 8 p.m. ET and available the next day on Hulu and Disney+. Apple Music will also live stream audio from the ceremony on Apple Music 1.
