Actor David Soul, who starred in the '70s cop drama Starsky & Hutch, has died at the age of 80.
Soul's wife Helen Snell shared the news saying he died yesterday (Thursday) at his home in London "after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family." Soul is best-remembered for his role as Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in Starsky & Hutch, in which he co-starred with Paul Michael Glaser. He was also a singer who had a number-one hit in 1977 with his ballad "Don't Give Up On Us." Soul was married five times and leaves behind six children. (BBC)
