Stevie Nicks says it was an infection in her leg to forced her to recently postpone two shows in the UK -- Manchester and Glasgow.
She made up the Manchester show on July 16th, and last night (Wednesday) on stage in Glasgow she broke her silence on what required a "minor surgical procedure."
"I don’t know what happened. I just got this weird infection, and it just went crazy."
Staying at a “fabulous castle” in Scotland, she told her assistant at two in the morning, "I think we need to go to emergency. I’m not kidding! I think we need to go to the hospital.
“And so our butler – this wonderful man – throws us in his BMW sedan, and off we sped through the night to a hospital.”
She ended up spending two days in the hospital.
Up next are two U.S. shows she postponed in June "due to illness" -- Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 24th, and Hershey, Pennsylvania on September 28th.
