Bloodlines run deep in country music, and Zach Bryan shows us just how deep in the video for "Oak Island."
Zach conceptualized the video with his girlfriend, Brianna LaPaglia, who also hosts the podcast Plan Bri Uncut. The clip stars Oscar winner Casey Affleck and Jack Martin, and tells the story of how one brother's love and fear for his sibling's safety drives a wedge between them. Affleck portrays the reliable brother who works a factory job, cares for their ailing mother and, ultimately, throws the hammer down on the troublesome associates who are threatening Martin.
Between the dark moodiness of the video and the haunting grit in Zach's voice, the end product is chilling.
