Brittany Howard is going to unveil another new band next year.
It's a hardcore band called Kumite that will make its debut January 12th at Basement East in Nashville. All proceeds from the show will be split amongst three Nashville charity organizations. Besides her old band Alabama Shakes, Howard has played in two other bands in recent years -- Thunderbitch and Bermuda Triangle.
