Serena Williams is getting into a new game.
The Tennis GOAT announced on Monday that she’s joining the WNBA — as part of the ownership group for the newly announced Toronto Tempo. Williams made the reveal with a video where she’s seen bouncing a tennis ball on the tennis court before it transforms into a WNBA-branded basketball with the words “New court, new game” appearing on the screen. In the caption, she wrote, “I am incredibly excited to join the Toronto Tempo as the team’s newest owner.”
