The Lumineers co-founder Jeremiah Fraites has entered the world of film scoring with two high-profile films out this fall.
Up first on September 12th is The Long Walk, which is adapted from the Stephen King novel of the same name that he published under the name Richard Bachman in 1979.
And on October 24th it's an even bigger project, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, which stars Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen during the time he was working on Nebraska.
Fraites, who is a New Jersey native, told Billboard that “I didn’t approach the score by trying to imitate Bruce’s sound -- there’s no way to replicate that. But the emotional tone of Nebraska -- its restraint, its space, its raw honesty -- definitely informed the way I thought about the music. It was more about feeling than style."
