OASIS: So What's Next?

Oasis are done with their five month world reunion tour, so fans are asking what's next.

The last show was Sunday night in Brazil and the band posted on its Instagram on Monday that "the love, joy, tears and euphoria [of the tour] will never be forgotten. There will now be a pause for a period of reflection," which might mean that a rumored 2026 tour might not be on the books just yet.

Guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs wrote that "I can honestly say, that was the best year of my life," which is surprising since he's been undergoing treatment for prostate cancer this year.

And Liam Gallagher posted a note saying, "To all Oasis fans around the world young middle aged old as [heck] THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart you absolutely LICKED IT UP... without you we're just a good band with you we're the BEST BAND ON THE PLANET."

Liam did hint that more shows are on the way -- “There’s loads more classics we need to play for you when we go out again I mean happy Christmas" -- but making any new music is not on his agenda.

He responded to a fan on X, “New music is for WANKERS. I honestly don’t see the point it won’t be as good as the old stuff. I'm quite happy singing the old stuff. I’m not 1 of those WANKERS that need to keep pushing it forward or sideways or backwards in some cases NOSTALGIA forever.”
