John Legend Drops Powerful 'Love Me Now' Visual (VIDEO)

At a time when our country (and the rest of the world) needs love the most, John Legend dropped his powerful new music video for his single "Love Me Now" -- and it's FULL of love.

The "Love Me Now" music video was directed by Nabil Elderkin (who has directed music videos for Kanye West, Alt-J, Vince Staples & More), and was shot in various locations all over the world including the Domiz Refugee Camp in Northern Iraq, Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.

The message of the music video, reflects the message of the song, to love each other no matter what tomorrow brings, perfectly as we follow several couples of all ages and sexual orientations -- even John, his wife Chrissy Teigen and their adorable baby girl Luna.

In a press release, the video's director Nabil says, "This video shows how love can be shared in some of the most difficult situations on earth in which the human spirit and connection with each other prevails. From one of the longest standing refugee camps in northern Iraq just 45 miles outside of Mosul, to Standing Rock Reservation where they are fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline that threatens their sacred lands and all of our water, it is a glimpse into these couples' lives and the lives of those in their communities."

Back in early October, John exclusively told iHeartRadio during an interview about the inspiration behind the song. "Just seeing what is happening in the world, you never know what's gonna happen, and you never know about tomorrow. We have loved ones around us, and of course I have my own family, and you have to hold them close, and give them all you got right now."
