Katy Perry dropped her star-studded music video for “Swish Swish” on Thursday, and fans are reacting to the interesting visual on Twitter. The video features the singer as basketball player “Kobe Perry” going up against rival team “The Sheep” in a championship game. See mixed fan reactions above!
One Twitter user said, “The general public seem to love it, their favorite part was Nicki’s [verse] and the memes! #SwishSwishMusicVideo.” Another fan tweeted, “The video is so repeat worthy. There’s a lot of things happening in the video, they snapped!! #SwishSwishMusicVideo.” One person wrote, “The ‘Swish Swish’ video was dope LMFAO. It was pretty funny.” And another said, “The best part about the Swish Swish video? Nicki, for real.”
Meanwhile, a fan with the handle @ddllfaith shared, “Swish swish music video is not THAT bad. “Only good part of Swish Swish was Nicki. I like the basketball aesthetic but it was beyond cringe-y with all those damn memes. You’re 32,” one particularly disappointed fan said.
