Twitter Loves Sad Tom Brady

As the Philadelphia Eagles were winning their first Lombardi trophy sending its fans flying high, Twitter was turning the Patriots quarterback into another viral meme.

At 40, Brady is widely considered one of the best players in the NFL and many believed he and his team would dominated against the Eagles in Super Bowl LII. However, despite throwing 505 yards, two crucial mistakes which included a fumble and a sack led to Philadelphia's ultimate victory 41-33 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

As you can imagine, that can kind of crush a guy. Twitter on the other hand, loved seeing Brady so sad and had the memes and photoshops to prove it.

Ever the supportive wife, Gisele BĂĽndchen's Instagram post on Monday tried to console her husband, but only managed to add to the #SadBrady meme.

"Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was! Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see ever day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you! ❤️"

"Bradying" even became a thing.
