Black Panther is, without question, the hottest movie release of the year! It was only released a month ago and its already become one of the most important movies in cinematic history.
The project is currently the most tweeted about movie of all time, the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time in North America, it had the highest box office opening for a four-day weekend and February release and SO much more. In a nutshell, Black Panther has surpassed everyone's wildest dreams. A movie like this was much wanted for a long time and when it finally premiered, fans showed up and showed out to support it.
The power of social media really made many people love the movie that much more, before it even premiered. When it comes to Twitter, especially Black Twitter, the love for the blockbuster film is oh so real. Many fans enjoy making memes out of some scenes of the movie. And believe us when we say that these memes are hilarioussss!
One scene in particular that we're focusing on is the one that shows antagonist Erik Killmonger fighting the protagonist T'Challa AKA the Black Panther for the Wakandan throne. "Is this your king?!" Killmonger -- who's portrayed by Michael B. Jordan -- shouts, as he's defeating the superhero. Fans have since used that scene to poke fun at some real life instances of their very own.
