Guns N' Roses Not Planning Reunion With Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin

It doesn't look like Guns N' Roses' fans' hopes for the band's Appetite for Destruction-era lineup to fully reunite will be realized.

However, GNR does indeed have something special planned: a massive 30th anniversary box set of the band's debut album, called the Locked N' Loaded edition.

A billboard that recently appeared outside London bearing the likenesses of each Appetite for Destruction-era band member sparked speculation that drummer Steven Adler and guitarist Izzy Stradlin were poised to reunite with their former band.

The web address www.GNR.fm was also emblazoned on the billboard along with #AppetiteForDestruction. The website was counting down to a big announcement on Friday, May 4.

But a since-deleted unboxing video for Locked N' Loaded box set revealed more details, according to The PRP. In addition to the remastered original album, the box set will include 49 previously unreleased songs, 25 of which are from the band's original 1986 Sound City sessions for Appetite.

The set also reportedly includes the groups early Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP and a 96-page book of photos from Axl Rose's personal archives.

A photo circulating on Reddit depicts another billboard advertising a June 29 re-release date for the collection.

Appetite for Destruction has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and is one of the most influential albums in the history of hard rock. To think there are 49 songs from that era of Guns N' Roses that the band never even released does a lot to explain how the band was able to put out such a quality debut.

Though GNR fans will be disappointed if the band doesn't reunite, there were plenty of signs that a reunion hasn't been in the works (at least right now), namely the fact that Adler keeps lobbying the band in public to bring him back.

Adler is planning to go on tour this month performing Appetite for Destruction with a band including singer Constantine Maroulis
