Eyebrows were raised when Metro obtained recent photos of Demi Lovato holding hands with a mysterious man while leaving Warwick nightclub in Los Angeles. After the outlet reported the man to be G-Eazy, Us Weekly followed suit, publishing their own story and reporting the rapper's identity as well. However, it seems like that might have been too fast of a conclusion to make.
Not only has Us Weekly since deleted their report, but Lovatics were quick to point out some key details. Unless the star got shorter, changes his clothes and shoes (as seen in other paparazzi shots of him at the venue), the mysterious man isn't the Bay Area rapper. After all, it's only been a few weeks since G-Eazy and Halsey publically called it quits, with the pop superstar insinuating that he cheated on her shortly after the news went viral. Meanwhile, Lovato seems to be dealing with her own share of priorities, including her recent relapse in sobriety after a six-year streak.
On the other end of the fabricated love triangle, Halsey told the crowd on Saturday (July 14) at her Atlantic City, New Jersey concert that she "learned recently it's okay to be alone." "Being alone is enough. The second lesson I learned is don't sleep with your ex," she said to the audience, as per Us Weekly. "They tried to make the distance thing work, but the two of them are both super engaging and interactive people and it became too difficult for them to sustain a balanced and healthy relationship when they were spending so much time apart," a source recently told Us of Halsey and G-Eazy's split.
