Ariana Grande Claps Back At IG Commenter Who Is "Sick" of Her Ponytail

Ariana Grande

Everyone knows that Ariana Grande's signature hairstyle is her gorgeous long ponytail — at this point, it's iconic. That's why when she showed up on the cover of a recent British Vogue magazine issue with her long mane down, it made headlines. But, let this be known: Ariana Grande is NOT sick of her ponytail.

When stylist Mimi Cuttrell posted an Instagram photo of Ari and her platinum blond-haired fiancé, Pete Davidson, holding hands in New York City, it received a comment from an Instagram user who said, "I'm sick of that ponytail."

Well, Ari saw the comment, and decided to clap back. She responded directly to the IG comment and simply wrote, "I'm not." This was all captured courtesy of @commentsbycelebs. See the exchange below.

So, there you have it, folks. Ariana Grande's ponytail is NOT GOING ANYWHERE. In fact, she even included a lyric about her famous ponytail on a bonus track off the Target edition of her Dangerous Woman album, "Jason's Song (Gave It Away)." In the first verse, she sings, "You focused your frustration on a small detail/ Blew it out of scale, like my ponytail."

Ariana's hair has transformed a lot over the years. Transitioning from her bright red locks after playing Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's Victorious, to her half-up-half-down 'do from early on in her career (which she still rocks from time to time). But the ponytail has remained Ari's identifying hairstyle, and rarely wears her hair down.

So, if you were wondering if the pop star is going to change up her hairstyle anytime soon, the answer is probably not.

Grande is preparing to drop her fourth full-length studio album, Sweetener, on August 17th. Most recently she shared the newest track off the record, "God Is A Woman," and its accompanying music video. Fans have also heard lead single "No Tears Left To Cry" and her Nicki Minaj collab "The Light Is Coming," which she debuted during her performance at the 2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango show in Los Angeles in early June.
