Bode and Morgan Miller's newborn baby boy is finally here! The couple confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively their son arrived Friday (October 5), making him their third child together.
The lovebirds have been married since 2012 and also share a 3-year-old son named Nash.
The tiniest member of the Miller household comes almost four months after the pair suffered the unfortunate loss of their 19-month-old daughter Emeline Grier, who somehow slipped through a back door of a neighbor's house in Orange County, California, where they had been visiting, and accidentally drowned in a swimming pool.
Emeline reportedly remained underwater for approximately 30 seconds before paramedics were alerted and the infant was rushed to a nearby hospital. They were unable to resuscitate her. She passed on June 10.
“We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this,” the former alpine ski racer wrote in a heartbreaking Instagram post. “Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to it’s fullest every day.”
Since the tragedy, the 40-year-old athlete have worked diligently to introduce water safety and survival swimming practices for Nash.
"I wish I could have one more day to hold you, but until that day comes, continue to work through me and give me the strength to bring awareness, my love," Morgan mourned in an Instagram post shared in her daughter's memory. "I told you as I held you in this moment that you could still change the world, you could still move mountains. … I love you, My baby girl."
