The Dave Clark Five was a part of the British Invasion, in fact their classic, Glad All Over, knocked the Beatles, “I Want To Hold Your Hand” off the top of the UK charts. Dave recently unearthed an amazing performance from his collection, a song he helped pen for a musical that Freddy Mercury sang. He has now stripped it down to just the Queen singer’s stunning voice and piano. Dave talks about his friendship with Mercury, the first time they met (Looks like Liza Minnelli!) and the search for this amazing track. He also talks about the Dave Clark Five playing Red Rocks and the only role he turned down as a young stunt actor (it involved dressing in drag and a very famous river).
