The Bret Saunders Podcast: Chevy Chase & Jeffrey Melnick

Chevy Chase was an original member of Saturday Night Live and went on to star in numerous films. August 25th, Chevy comes to the Bellco Theater for a special screening of Caddyshack (considered one of the all-time funniest films by the American Film institute, Time, and ESPN) followed by a Q & A session. Here he talks about the legacy of the film and working with Bill Murray, Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield. He also talks about being in a band with future founders of Steely Dan, Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, plus his friendship with all four Beatles.
It’s the 50th anniversary of the Manson murders and ever since, Charles Manson has been a part of the American psyche (he’s even a part of the makeup of the new Quentin Tarantino movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood). Bret and author Jeffrey Melnick discuss his book,  Creepy Crawling: Charles Manson and the Many Lives of America's Most Infamous Family, and why they have rarely slipped off the American radar for long.
