It was 50 years ago today . . . Beatles' fans like myself are rejoicing over the release of a remastered version of "Abbey Road." The album is available as a single disc and in a deluxe box set with previously unreleased outtakes and banter between the band. It still ranks as my all-time favorite album and I'm fascinated by even the smallest of nuances in the remixed versions (don't remember backup vocals on "Oh Darling"). Along with a "new album," The Beatles have also released a new video!
