Trey Anastasio ---- during Phish's New Year's Eve show at New York's Madison Square Garden.got stuck in the air!
During their third set, each member performed on separate mini stages that were raised up in the air so a group of dancers could perform below them. After they finished their fourth song, "Sand," the stages were lowered, but Anastasio's was stuck in the air. After a bit of a delay, he decided the band should just keep going.
After their final song of the night, drummer Jon Fishman's platform was raised up so the Phish crew could rescue Anastasio. As he was being lowered, he jammed on the drums and made up a song he called"Rescue Squad."
