Since many Denver counties made the switch from Level Red to Level Orange restrictions, more businesses have been allowed to reopen and expand their capacities under strict COVID-19 guidelines.
Harkins Theaters announced that it will be reopening its theaters in the Denver area starting Friday, January 8.
This is the second movie theater chain to announce a reopening of Colorado locations since Level Orange COVID-19 restriction went into effect.
The chain will begin showing movies at its location in Northfield at Stapleton and in Arvada starting Friday.
The locations will play new releases such as Wonder Woman 1984, Promising Young Woman, and News of the World.
They will also be showing classics like The Bodyguard, the Rocky series, and Sex and the City.
Harkins is, of course, adhering to safety protocol and COVID-19 guidelines as they reopen their locations.
Sanitizing stations will be set up around the theater and showtimes will be staggered to limit the number of people in the building at one time.
Guests are required to wear a face mask at all times. Those unable to wear a mask for long periods due to a disability must instead wear a face shield. Anyone not willing to comply with the face-covering requirement will be asked to leave.
Seating can be reserved in pairs and spaced out to allow for social distancing between groups.
You can also reserve an entire theater for up to 20 people for $99.
