Fascinating look into history of Chautauqua

Have you ever hiked one of the trails from Chautauqua Park in Boulder or gone to a concert in the Auditorium? Maybe you've stayed in one of the cottages or eaten in the Dining Hall. The setting near the Flatirons is breathtaking and it has attracted visitors for well over 100 years. Colorado Chautauqua opened in 1898 as a cultural and education retreat and has been designated as a National Historic Landmark. All these years later Chautauqua is still a cherished gathering place which is why I'm inviting you, in honor of Valentine's Day, to Celebrate Your Love at Chautauqua! Soak up the beauty and the history with your special someone. Wedding? Anniversary? Vows renewal? Email me your story: ginger@kbco.com. I could set you up with a special celebration in 2021 that includes: 2 nights for up to 10 people at Missions House Lodge, catered dinner, photographer, cake, champagne toast and event coordination. I found this video that gives fascinating insight into the history of Chautauqua, including the construction of the auditorium. I've seen so many wonderful concerts there and now I have a whole new perspective. https://kbco.iheart.com/content/2021-02-04-celebrate-your-love/
