When I was a kid, my parents dropped my brother and I off at the movie theatre for the day (you could do that sort of thing back then.) One of the movies we saw was ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, featuring The Ramones. Their look and sound blew my mind! I didn't know music like that existed! I emerged from the theater a changed "man." Later in life I had several opportunities to see the band live. They never, ever disappointed. I'm so glad that singer-frontman Joey Ramone existed.
