Neil Young says he's working on a new album.
He writes on his website, I have five songs ready for the next album, so I think over time the rest will come and we may start recording again soon.”
This could be a second straight album with Crazy Horse as he responded to one fan, "Recording with [Crazy] Horse will begin soon.”
Crazy Horse played on his last album, 2019's Colorado, but they never toured behind it, and based on another fan response, it doesn't look like he'll hit the boards anytime soon. “No gigs planned until I am sure the audience is safe.”
Young is also working on a science fiction novel, Canary, a third edition of his Archives Series box set, which will span from 1976 to 1990. He'll also have a live bootleg series covering shows at Carnegie Hall in 1970, the Rainbow Theater in 1973, The Bottom Line in 1974, and a 1977 show with the Ducks.
