Chris Martin recently shared a few words about his partner, Dakota Johnson, following rumors of a breakup that were immediately dispelled in August.

The Coldplay legend was featured in the December 19th issue of Rolling Stone, and told the outlet how much love and romance play into every facet of his life.

"It is important to say that [romantic love] is such a big factor in everything. Even though it feels right to keep it precious and private; I'm not denying its power."

E!News mentioned that Martin referred to the Fifty Shades of Grey actress multiple times throughout the interview, calling her his "best friend" alongside children Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, whom he shares with ex Gwyneth Paltrow.

Martin and Johnson met in 2017 and have been privately dating for quite some time. The beloved actress and "Yellow" hitmaker are so good at keeping things private that fans have suspected a secret engagement multiple times, though it was never confirmed.

Earlier this year, rumors surfaced alleging that the pair decided to call it quits while Martin was on the European leg of Coldplay's Spheres World Tour. The false hearsay was almost instantly shut down as the couple remain very much together and in love.
