Joni Mitchell surprise-released Blue 50 (Demos and Outtakes), a digital EP of outtakes and demos from her classic 1971 album, which turns 50 Tuesday. It includes the rarity “Hunter,” alternate takes of “River” and “Urge for Going,” plus demos of “California” and “A Case of You.”
Joni Mitchell’s Blue 50 (Demos and Outtakes) EP will also be part of the limited-edition five-CD or 10-LP box set Joni Mitchell Archives Volume 2: The Reprise Years (1968 To 1971), which will come out October 29th.
