Williams came to Boulder in 2013 as part of one of those "Celebrity Interview" tours, and, for some reason, I was asked to introduce him. I found him to be warm and conversational, and we hung out backstage for about an hour before the show. When I asked about filming the exterior shots for the intro to "Mork and Mindy" in Boulder in the '70s (they filmed the actual weekly show in Hollywood, of course) he told me he was so drunk at the time that he had no memory of Boulder whatsoever. It was a shock when he was gone a year later. What a legacy!
