Eddie Vedder's 17-year-old daughter Olivia will make her recording debut singing a song written by her father and his friend Glen Hansard.
The track called "My Father's Daughter," which appears on the Flag Day soundtrack, comes out digitally on August 20th, same day as the movie, with a physical release to follow in the fall. The soundtrack also includes new tracks from Eddie Vedder, who's worked on the Score for Penn's 2007 film Into the Wild, Hansard and Cat Power.
The film, directed by Sean Penn, stars his daughter Dylan Penn. "My Father's Daughter" is heard in the film's new trailer, which is on YouTube now.
