If Colorado had a state dog, what breed would it be? I'd probably nominate the Golden Retriever. Yes, they are very popular in this state and they just seemed to typify that "Colorado spirit." But hey, what do I know? I only have cats! Last week on a TV news segment I was introduced to a Golden Retriever named Sterling and he has me rethinking that whole cat lady thing.
