Carlos Santana re-records "Oy Como Va " for "Playing for Change"

Santana and his wife, Santana band drummer Cindy Blackman, lead an array of musicians from around the world in a new version of his interpretation of Tito Puente’s “Oye Como Va.”

It's the latest in a series of re-recording classic songs for Playing For Change as part of the organization’s Peace Through Music event in partnership with the United Nations to support social justice and the rights of Afro descendants.

Joining Carlos and Cindy are Santana band percussionist Karl Perazzo, singer Becky G, percussionist Tito Puente, Jr., bassist Tal Wilkenfeld and many others.
