Tom Hanks plays lead in U.S. film based on "A Man Called Ove"

One of the best books I've read in the last couple of years was "A Man Called Ove" by Swedish author Fredrik Backman. The book is a heartwarming story of a widowed curmudgeon who repels everyone's attempts at friendship. Ah, but the tide changes and that icy heart starts to warm. The metamorphosis of Ove is a feel good story told with humor and charm, and now it'll be interesting to see a movie version with Tom Hanks in the lead. Ah, but now for American audiences, "A Man Called Ove" has become "A Man Called Otto." I'm going to miss the Swedish references in the book but hey, tough to go wrong with Tom Hanks. Before the movie opens on Christmas Day, I want to see the Swedish version which came out in 2015.
