ROLLING STONES: Country Tips its Hat

The Rolling Stones are the subject of a new tribute album, this one by country artists.

Stoned Cold Country features covers of 14 songs, including “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Dead Flowers,” "It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It),” “Miss You,” "Wild Horses," “Tumbling Dice,” and "Gimme Shelter" by Eric ChurchBrooks & DunnMaren MorrisBrothers OsborneMarcus KingZac Brown BandSteve Earle and seven others.

The album will be out next year, but will be preceded by the first single, “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It)” by Brothers Osborne and the War and Treaty this Friday. They will also perform it next Wednesday on the Country Music Association Awards on ABC at 8pm ET.

Keith Richards has posted a photo on social media of him in the studio working on the new Stones album with the caption, "new sounds on the horizon."
