One "Oasis" brother doesn't want you to vote them into the Rock Hall

Ex-Oasis singer Liam Gallagher doesn't seems to care that his band made the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ballot.

On early Monday morning he tweeted an F-bomb at the Rock Hall and said "it's full of BUMBACLARTS" -- which is a derogatary Jamaican term that means toilet tissue.

Hundreds of Oasis fans responded to the tweet, and Gallagher decided to reply to some of them.

  • One fan wrote "Oasis is still deserving of it though" and Gallagher said "Of course."
  • Another wrote, "You need a hall of fame where its just you and nobody else is ever allowed in." Gallagher wrote "You said it."
  • Someone else tried to get him to publicize the fan vote, which is counted as one ballot among the hundreds of voters. Gallagher replied, "Don’t waste your time...as much as it’s appreciated it’s all a load of bollox."
  • And finally someone wrote, "Sorry [mate] but Shania Twain needs to be in waayyyy before Oasis," to which Gallagher wrote "I agree."

This is the first nomination for Oasis who have been eligible for induction since 2019, which was 25 years after the release of their first album, 1994's Definitely Maybe.
