Pattie Boyd is auctioning off love letters sent to her by both of her ex-husbands -- George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
The letters are among 110 items going up for bids at Christie's in London starting on March 8th.
The letters from Harrison, who Boyd married in 1966 and divorced in 1977, span a few years and also include a bunch of postcards that he sent to Boyd's mother.
One letter from Clapton, who Boyd married in 1979 and divorced in 1989, was written in 1970 and says, "I am writing this letter to you, with the main purpose of ascertaining your feelings towards a subject well known to both of us... What I wish to ask you is if you still love your husband? All these questions are very impertinent, I know, but if there is still a feeling in your heart for me… you must let me know!”
Clapton's pursuit of Boyd when she was still married to Harrison was the inspiration behind the Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs.
