It's nearly summertime, which means barbecue season is nearly upon us, and nothing compliments long summer days surrounded by family and friends better than piling up a plate full of all your barbecue favorites.
Yelp recently compiled a list of the Top 100 Barbecue Spots in 2024, finding the absolute best BBQ joints around the country that are worth stopping by to sample smoky meats, flavorful sauces and delicious sides that are out of this world. Among the list are three restaurants found around Colorado:
- No. 29: Post Oak Barbecue (Denver)
- No. 87: Georgia Boys BBQ (Longmont)
- No. 88: GQue Championship BBQ (Westminster)
Of the three eateries on the list, Post Oak Barbecue ranked the highest. According to one Yelp reviewer, this joint, which has a 4.4 star rating and nearly 500 reviews, has "excellent service and great food" that was "bomb as hell." Another said, "As a Texan, I know a thing or two about Texas BBQ and this spot is pretty damn authentic," specifically calling out the "surprise standout" Brussels sprout and variety of barbecue sauces.
