Ringo Starr posted a highlight video from his annual “Peace & Love” birthday celebration, held this past Sunday, his 84th birthday, in Beverly Hills Park, home to his stainless steel, eight-foot-tall, 800-pound peace sculpture. Among those on hand to help him celebrate and proclaim “peace and love” at noon were his brother-in-law Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills and Edgar Winter. Ringo told those on hand, “We started doing this celebration with about 50 people in 2008. I am truly grateful you all turned up today otherwise I’d be lonely… We are going round the world – we are in 34 countries and all I can do is say is peace and love.”
