The Tom Petty estate has joined Oasis and Linkin Park in big name acts teasing huge announcements this week.
There's a countdown clock on Petty's website that is counting down to 9:00 am ET on Friday along with a place to sign up for an email list.
Petty's estate tweeted on Monday, "We’ve been working on something really special for a long time for the core Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers fans. We’ve dropped a few clues along the way, but we think you’ll be delighted at what’s to come this fall. The countdown has officially started…"
Oasis has teased something for Tuesday morning (which is likely a reunion tour) while Linkin Park has a countdown on their site to Wednesday afternoon.
