Elvis Costello and T-Bone Burnett reunite for a new album and audio series

Elvis Costello is reuniting with producer/songwriter T-Bone Burnett for a new album and a three part Audible series.

Costello and Burnett have recorded a new album as The Coward Brothers, a name they used for their collaborations in the 1980s. Their self-titled album is due out November 21st. The first single, "Always," is on YouTube now.

The Audible series is called The True Story of The Coward Brothers and has Costello and Burnett playing Henry and Howard Coward. They're interviewed by a radio host played by Harry Shearer (The Simpsons, This Is Spinal Tap) as they talk about their career and how their manager persuaded them to fake their own deaths. The series, which also debuts on November 21st, was directed by Christopher Guest (This Is Spinal TapBest In Show) and also stars Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul).
