While actor Timothee Chalamet is receiving good reviews for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the bio-pic A Complete Unknown, Bruce Springsteen has provided a good review of actor Jeremy Allen White portraying him in the movie Deliver Me From Nowhere, which is still in production.
Appearing on his SiriusXM channel, E Street Radio, he says White "sings very well.”
Asked what it's like watching someone portray him, he says, "You get over that pretty quick, and Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it.
"He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize and he’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there...
"It’s a tremendous cast of people. They cast the film beautifully, so it’s very exciting.”
The film is based on Warren Zanes‘ book Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.
