Dawes brothers on Jimmy Kimmel Live after suffering losses in L.A. fire

Days after they both suffered major losses in the Los Angeles fires, Taylor Goldsmith and Griffin Goldsmith of Dawes played a tribute to their hometown on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The brothers played "Time Spent in Los Angeles" as a duo as footage of Los Angeles before and after the destructive fires played on the screen behind them. The performance was part of Jimmy Kimmel’s fundraiser for MusiCares, which supports musicians with financial hardships. Watch it on YouTube.

Taylor and his wife Mandy Moore lost parts of their house and his home studio, while Griffin and his pregnant wife lost their home. Both couples lived in the hard-hit Altadena area.
